Luxe Dining Room Transformation
This homeowner simply needed inspiration. “What do I do with all this empty space?”
Starting with a blank room can be overwhelming because the design possibilities are endless. This space initially featured a farmhouse-style dining set, but instead of going all-in on that aesthetic, I took inspiration from farmhouse elements, like the striped wallpaper. From there, I infused a modern twist to create a balanced, fresh, and inviting look.
Growing up in Houston and working in the Memorial District, I’ve had the opportunity to become very familiar with the design preferences of this area. The Memorial District is known for its elegant, timeless interiors, with an emphasis on sophistication and high-end details.
When it came to this dining room, I knew it needed more than just a fresh coat of paint. It needed some pazzaz , while still feeling modern and livable. I wanted to blend traditional charm with a contemporary twist to bring new life to the space.
